About Us

Founded in 2003, Clinic with a Heart is a 501 (c) (3) organization that has served more than 3000 patients in the past four years. Clinic with a Heart serves as an entry point to Lincoln’s healthcare community.  Clinic provides free urgent short-term medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, and dental care to uninsured and underinsured residents of and around Lincoln.  Patients are provided with medication assistance and educational tools, as well as, other resources to assist in furthering their care.

A “medical mission at home”, Clinic with a Heart is staffed by more than 300 medical and non-medical volunteers.  

Clinic with a Heart is a walk-in clinic located at Center for People in Need.  Patients are:

  • Seen by a licensed medical provider
  • Connected with a pharmacist regarding prescribed prescriptions
  • Referred to a "medical home"
  • Provided with personal care items donated by the community

Clinics are held four times each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m. at Center for People in Need.
